Team Mobiddiction PatientVR demo at an event

An event full of “wows,” smiles, and accolades all around is what our team experienced when attendees got a glimpse of what virtual reality using PatientVR could feel like.

“Nine out of ten people we meet have never experienced VR before, and witnessing their reactions puts huge smiles on their faces, which makes our team all the more excited” says Mike Vasavada, Director of Mobiddiction.

Virtual Reality (VR) is revolutionising patient care in hospital settings such as PatientVR offering immersive experiences that can distract patients from pain, reduce anxiety before procedures, and provide therapeutic interventions in a non-invasive manner.

By creating a calming environment, VR helps improve overall patient well-being and can lead to faster recovery times. PatientVR is at the forefront of this innovation, providing tailored VR experiences designed specifically for the healthcare environment. What sets PatientVR apart is its focus on patient-centered care, incorporating feedback from healthcare professionals and patients to continuously improve and adapt the VR experiences to meet the unique needs of hospital settings.

Kris Gauci, the founder of Our Community Cares chaired and opened the event with some background on the wonderful initiatives at OCC through the past year and upcoming programs with help the Nepean region with lot of activities supporting the local community, healthcare facilities and local hospitals.
