Brand guide
How to use the PatientVR brand.
Everything needed to make something that looks, sounds and feels like PatientVR: on the web, in the portal, in the store and inside the headset.
Foundations
Using this guide
The short answer to “what does PatientVR look and sound like?”, on a screen, in a headset and in a hospital. Written so you can act on it without asking anyone.
This guide is for everyone who makes something with the PatientVR name on it: the Mobiddiction team who build the headset app, the portal and the website, the people who create 360 scenes and Interacts, and the designers, printers and partners who produce material for hospitals, hospices and care services. Nothing in it is confidential. You can send the whole file to a supplier.
What is binding, and what is not
Everything in a red Don’t panel is binding. Those rules protect patients, legibility, accessibility or the integrity of the mark, and breaking one is a defect. The rest is a strong default: follow it unless you have a good reason, and if you do, tell us so the guide can absorb it.
PatientVR is a product brand inside the Mobiddiction family. Where this guide is silent, the Mobiddiction master brand guide applies, and its typography, spacing and writing rules carry through here unchanged.
How to read the labels
- From source
- Taken directly from a source: the logo masters, the live site at patientvr.com, the site code or the platform configuration.
- Working default
- A sensible standard to work to until a formal rule exists. Use it, and flag it if it gets in the way.
- TBC
- Not yet decided or not found in any source. Don’t fill the gap yourself. Appendix C lists every open decision in one place.
✓ Do
- Use the master files listed in Section 21. Every logo version you need already exists.
- Check the logo version against the background before you export (Section 05).
- Send this guide to a supplier before they start work.
- Ask when something isn’t covered. Don’t guess, especially about clinical claims.
× Don’t
- Copy colours out of an old file, a screenshot or the portal theme. This guide is the source.
- Treat a TBC item as decided.
- Redraw, trace or retype any part of the logo.
- Mix the PatientVR, PRO and HoVR marks in one lock-up.
Who owns what
- Brand owner
- Mobiddiction Pty Ltd. PatientVR is a Mobiddiction-owned product, not a client program.
- Platform
- Runs on Mobiddiction’s M4 platform, which hosts the portal, content library and headset management.
- Requests
- Files, questions and change requests: contactus@mobiddiction.com.au
How to print it
Export from your browser at A4, default margins, background graphics on. If background graphics are off, every swatch prints white. Sections start on a new page by design.

Descriptions in use
These come from the live site. Use them as written and trim from the end. Formal approval of a boilerplate is TBC, so check with the product owner before using the long version in a tender or media release.
Immersive patient experience using virtual reality.
PatientVR is a simple-to-set-up virtual reality experience built with patients in mind to support their overall wellbeing, positivity, and pain management. Works offline. No controllers required.
PatientVR PRO runs on Meta for Work managed headsets. Our team configures each headset, installs PatientVR PRO and trains your staff, and your team manages each headset’s content from the PatientVR portal. Works offline. No patient data recorded.
Brand architecture
One product name, two tiers, one related trial brand, and a parent company that signs everything once. Knowing which one you are designing for prevents most mistakes.
How the tiers differ
| PatientVR | PatientVR PRO | |
|---|---|---|
| Channel | Meta Horizon Store | Meta for Work (managed devices) |
| Mark | Standard: coral symbol | PRO: PRO blue symbol, “PRO” under the wordmark |
| Headset build | com.MobiddictionPtyLtd.patientvr | com.MobiddictionPtyLtd.patientvrpro |
| Content | Built-in library | Cloud library, curated per headset in the portal |
| Store art | Coral set (Section 18) | PRO blue set (Section 18) |
A Mobiddiction product may hold its own name, mark and accent colour, but keeps the master typography (Poppins), spacing, shape and motion, and carries Mobiddiction attribution once per surface. PatientVR already does this: its site palette and type are the Mobiddiction palette and type, and its own mark carries the identity.
✓ Do
- Use the PRO mark only for the managed, Meta for Work tier and the portal.
- Use the standard mark when you mean PatientVR the product, or the Horizon Store app.
- Attribute to Mobiddiction once per surface: footer, about page, or the Powered lock-up.
× Don’t
- Use the PRO mark on Meta Horizon Store material.
- Put HoVR or VapingVR marks beside, inside or merged with the PatientVR mark.
- Present M4 as a brand. It is the platform’s name in running text, with no logo of its own.
Naming
One word, two capitals at the end. The name is the first part of the brand people read, so it has to be the same everywhere.
| Write | Never |
|---|---|
| PatientVR | Patient VR · PatientVr · Patientvr · PATIENTVR (in running text) · PVR (in public copy) |
| PatientVR PRO for the managed tier | PatientVR Pro+ · Pro PatientVR · PatientVR Professional |
| Interacts (capital I) for the interactive mini-experiences; “an Interact” | games · mini-games · apps |
| Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S, Meta for Work, Meta Horizon Store | Oculus · Quest3 · Meta For Work · Horizon store |
| HoVR, HoVR ED, VapingVR, Mobiddiction | Hovr · HOVR · Vaping VR · MobiDdiction |
- In the logo the wordmark is set in capitals. That belongs to the logo only. In text, write PatientVR.
- Possessive: PatientVR’s library. Don’t make it plural.
- Headings use sentence case. Buttons, navigation and eyebrows use Title Case, as on the live site and in the master guide: “Book a Demo”, “View Library”.
- No ™ or ® on any name unless legal confirms a registration.
- Asset files lead with the product:
patientvr-logo-inline-white.svg.
The logo, store art, pricing and site copy say PRO. The portal’s display name and register page say “PatientVR Pro”. This guide follows the mark and uses PatientVR PRO. Confirm, then align the portal.
Identity
Logo
A VR headset seen face-on, with the PATIENTVR wordmark: the bold PATIENT and the lighter VR. It comes inline, stacked and as a solid tile or roundel.
The system
Every version is built from two parts: the headset symbol, a rounded visor with a nose bridge, and the PATIENTVR wordmark. The wordmark is drawn artwork. It is not live type and can’t be retyped. There is no approved stand-alone symbol in the master set. The favicon and app icons use the stacked lock-up (Section 18).
Inline · defaultSite header, portal, documents, email. Native ratio about 5.6 : 1.
StackedSquare and portrait spaces: posters, covers, splash.
RoundelSocial avatars and square placements. Coral circle, white mark.
Colourways
Choose by background, not by taste. The file names in the master set describe the wordmark: “Color-dark” has a coral symbol and a dark wordmark; “Dark” is all dark.
Colour, dark textColor-dark

| Version | Use it on | Never on |
|---|---|---|
| Colour, dark text | White, Canvas and light photographs. The default for documents. | Coral, magenta, any dark colour. |
| Colour, light text | Ink, Night and the dark portal and headset surfaces. | White or light backgrounds. |
| Mono dark | The site header in light theme. One-colour print, forms, etching. | Dark backgrounds. |
| Mono white | The site header in dark theme, the footer, coral and magenta panels, PRO blue, darker areas of photographs. | White or light backgrounds. |
| Tile and roundel | Where the mark needs its own background: store art, avatars, app icons. | Inside another coloured box. The tile is already the box. |
The live site swaps the Mono dark and Mono white inline marks by theme, always from the @2x source, at 32 px tall in the header, with alt text “PatientVR”. Follow the same pattern in any web build.
PRO & Powered lock-ups
The PRO mark identifies the managed tier. The Powered lock-ups carry the Mobiddiction attribution inside the logo itself. Both are fixed artwork.
PatientVR PRO
The PRO mark recolours the headset symbol to PRO blue (#1f5fae) and sets “PRO” small and bold under the right end of the wordmark. Everything else is identical, and the same colourways exist.

PRO mono dark
PRO mono white

Powered by Mobiddiction
The Powered lock-ups add a small “Powered by [Mobiddiction]” line under the wordmark. Use one when the surface has no other place for attribution, such as store art, a trade-show banner or a partner slide. Where a footer or about page already credits Mobiddiction, use the plain mark.
Powered, dark
Powered, light
Powered tile, PRO
“Powered by” is about 4% of the lock-up’s height. Below roughly 240 px wide on screen it stops being readable, so use the plain mark and credit Mobiddiction in text instead. Minimum size for the Powered line: TBC
✓ Do
- Use PRO only where the reader is buying or using the managed tier.
- Keep one attribution per surface: Powered lock-up or a footer credit.
× Don’t
- Recolour the standard mark blue to make a “PRO” version, or type “PRO” next to the standard mark.
- Use a Powered lock-up and a separate Mobiddiction logo on the same surface.
- Use the PRO mark on Meta Horizon Store listings.
Clear space & size
Give the logo room, and never shrink it until the wordmark breaks up. The masters don’t define these rules yet, so the values below are working defaults.
No clear-space or minimum-size rule exists in the logo masters or the site. The values on this page are measured from the master artwork and are offered as interim working defaults. They need sign-off before they are treated as binding.
Clear space Working default
Define x as the cap height of the PATIENTVR wordmark, which is half the height of the inline lock-up. Keep at least x clear on all four sides. The masters are trimmed tight to the artwork, so measure from the file edge.
Minimum size Working default
| Version | Screen (height) | Print (width) |
|---|---|---|
| Inline lock-up | 24 px tall (about 135 px wide). The site header uses 32 px. | 30 mm |
| Inline PRO | 28 px tall, so “PRO” stays legible | 35 mm |
| Stacked lock-up | 64 px tall | 20 mm |
| Roundel | 40 px | 12 mm |
| Powered lock-ups | 240 px wide | 60 mm |

Logo misuse
The mistakes that happen most often. Each one is a defect, not a matter of taste.
Don’t stretch or squash. Scale proportionally.
Don’t recolour the symbol, even to another palette colour.
Don’t rotate or tilt it.
Don’t add effects: shadows, glows, outlines.
Don’t retype the wordmark or set it in another font.
Don’t put the colour mark on coral. Use Mono white.
Don’t combine with HoVR, VapingVR or partner marks.
Don’t fake PRO by tinting the standard mark blue.
✓ Do
- Scale proportionally, from a master file.
- Choose the colourway for the background (Section 05).
- Use Mono white on photographs, on a calm, darker area.
× Don’t
- Separate the symbol from the wordmark, or use the headset symbol as a loose illustration or icon.
- Put the inline mark in a box it didn’t come with. Use the tile instead.
- Animate, morph or loop the logo, in a headset or anywhere else.
- Place the logo in a 360 scene or on an Interact surface where it moves with the world.
Colour
Coral and magenta carry the brand, the same two colours as the Mobiddiction master brand. PRO blue marks the managed tier. Soft neutrals, and in the headset dark ones, give them room.

Proportion
On paper and on the web PatientVR is light and calm. In the headset and portal it is dark and calm. Either way, coral is a highlight, not a flood.
Approximate share of a typical layout. Magenta and the accents stay small.
The public site and logo use coral and magenta. The M4 portal theme for PatientVR (“PatientVR Pro”) is configured with a different palette. This guide treats the live public site as the brand and does not adopt the portal values. Decide which palette the portal should use, then update either the portal theme or this page.
Note that portal primary #1976d2 is close to, but not the same as, PRO blue #1f5fae in the PRO mark.
✓ Do
- Use Coral deep, Magenta or Ink for any text, icon or control that has to be read.
- Put small white text on Coral deep, Magenta, Ink, Night or PRO blue.
- Use status colours only for status, and always with an icon or words.
× Don’t
- Set body text in Coral, Coral soft, Magenta soft, Teal or Amber on white.
- Use small white text on Coral (3.90:1) or Teal. That includes small buttons.
- Use coral or red as a full-field background in the headset (Section 15).
- Invent tints or bring in other blues and greens, including the portal values, until the decision above is made.
No CMYK or Pantone values have been specified for PatientVR. TBC Until they are, match from a printed proof and record the result here.
Typography
One family, Poppins: geometric, open and legible small. It is the Mobiddiction master typeface too, so PatientVR material sits naturally beside the parent brand.
Aa
Poppins
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz 0123456789 & %% / : “”
Type scale (web and print)
| Style | Size / line height | Sample |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 56–72 / 1.05 · 700 · −0.025em | Immersive patient experience |
| Heading | 32–40 / 1.15 · 700 · −0.02em | How it works |
| Subheading | 20–24 / 1.3 · 600 | Manage your content |
| Body | 16–18 / 1.6 · 400 | Tailor the experience to each patient’s needs. |
| Small | 14 / 1.55 · 400 · muted | Works offline. No controllers required. |
| Eyebrow | 12 · 600 · caps · +0.25em | Watch |
The scale matches the Mobiddiction master guide and the live site: headings tracked −0.01 to −0.025em, H1 bold with tight leading. Sizes are px for screens; read them as pt for print.
In the headset
The headset app’s typeface is TBC. Until it is confirmed, use Poppins SemiBold for headings and buttons and Poppins Regular or Medium for body text, at the angular sizes in Section 15. Never use Light (300) in the headset: thin strokes shimmer on the display.
| Where | Use |
|---|---|
| Web, portal, design tools | Poppins (Google Fonts, SIL Open Font License), weights 300–700. The portal’s font is TBC. |
| A system stack (Segoe UI, Helvetica, Arial), per the master guide. Many clients block web fonts. | |
| Word, PowerPoint | Poppins where installed, otherwise Arial. |
| Headset (Unity) | Poppins as a TextMeshPro asset, TBC. |
✓ Do
- Use weight or colour for emphasis.
- Keep body text at 16 px or more on screens.
× Don’t
- Use weights 800 or 900, or italics for emphasis (master rule).
- Set long text in capitals. Only eyebrows are uppercase.
- Use a fallback font as a design choice.
Gradients, shape & icons
The live site has a small, consistent set of devices. Use these, and only these, so PatientVR looks like itself and like a relative of Mobiddiction.
Gradients From source
Coral: Coral deep → Coral → Coral soft. Hero words, the primary gradient button, badges. The site’s one solid gradient fill is at 135°.
Magenta to coral: statements such as “Works offline. No patient data recorded.” and the gradient CTA.
Teal to green: the library and content side (“View Library”, “patient experience”).
Immersive patient experience using Virtual Reality.
The live hero: white Poppins Bold with two gradient phrases. Gradient text is for one or two display-size phrases per page, never body text.
The accent bar
Coral → Magenta → Teal, 4–6 px, along the top edge of a feature card such as “PatientVR in action”. One per screen.
Shape From source
| Token | Value | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Radius | 12 px | Buttons, inputs, standard cards |
| Radius small | 8 px | Small buttons, tags |
| Radius large | 16 px | Feature cards, media, modals |
| Footer | Night #121212, bar #0a0a0a | Always dark, in both themes |
Icons From source
Interface icons on the site are Lucide (outline, 2 px stroke, rounded joins), with shadcn/ui components in the “new-york” style. Icons are punctuation: pair them with a label, size them to the text, and colour them Ink, Muted or Coral deep.
The 360 sphere on this guide’s cover (a wireframe of latitude and longitude lines in the coral gradient) is drawn for this guide only. It is a proposal, not an approved brand device. TBC
✓ Do
- Keep gradients inside the coral, magenta and teal families shown here.
- Use one gradient phrase or one accent bar per view.
× Don’t
- Put gradients behind body text, or animate them.
- Mix icon sets, or use the headset symbol as a UI icon.
- Use the homepage step colours (teal, blue, amber) as general brand colours.
Imagery & photography
Real care settings, real headsets, real calm. PatientVR is used with people who are unwell, so every image has to be respectful before it is beautiful.
What to choose
- Real clinical settings: wards, palliative rooms, hospices, aged care. Patients in bed or seated, clinicians fitting or supervising.
- Calm 360 scenery: nature, beaches, cities by day and night, snow, gardens. The library is the brand’s photography too.
- Kit shots: Meta Quest 3 and 3S, the PRO kit, cleanly lit on white or a soft tint.
- Interacts: bright, friendly, low-poly game art, shown as clean in-headset captures.
Every identifiable patient, family member or staff member needs written consent for that specific use. Never show a patient’s face, wristband, chart, screen or room number without it. Avoid images of distress, wounds, lines and monitors in close-up. Children appear only with guardian consent and the facility’s approval. If in doubt, leave the image out.
AI-generated “patient” images exist for the headset login screen. Whether generated people may appear in marketing is TBC. Until decided, don’t use them outside the headset app, and never present one as a real patient.
✓ Do
- Use descriptive alt text on every image (site convention).
- Show the headset worn correctly, strap adjusted, facial interface clean.
- Keep a clear, calm area for a headline or the logo.
× Don’t
- Use stock images of people in consumer gaming poses to represent patients.
- Show a real person’s screen, portal data or headset serial.
- Use imagery from HoVR or VapingVR to illustrate PatientVR.
Voice
Voice & tone
Calm, warm and clinically credible. A thoughtful colleague on the ward, not a salesperson and not a gadget review.
Short sentences, plain words, no hype. The reader may be a clinician between patients, or a family member in a hard week.
Lead with what changes for the patient and the care team, then the technology: “so what plays is always appropriate for the moment”.
Point to trials, partners and services by name (Nepean Hospital with NSW Health, Logan Hospital, HoVR ED) rather than superlatives.
Say how it works: Works offline. No controllers required. Our team configures each headset and trains your staff.
| Instead of | Write |
|---|---|
| Revolutionary VR that heals patients and eliminates pain. | PatientVR offers calming, immersive experiences that can help patients relax and feel less alone during a hospital stay. |
| Users can leverage our cutting-edge content management functionality. | Choose what each headset plays, and change it from the portal at any time. |
| Oops! Headset offline! | This headset hasn’t checked in for a while. Make sure it’s charged and on Wi-Fi. Downloaded content still plays offline. |
| Our VR treats anxiety in children. | Children at [service] have used PatientVR during procedures. [Cite the study or service, with permission.] |
- Australian English for AU audiences. The site also runs global (en-US) and India (en-IN) versions: follow the locale of the page.
- Talk to clinicians as peers. Talk about patients with respect: “people in palliative care”, not “palliative patients” where you can avoid it.
- No exclamation marks, no em dashes, no emoji in product or clinical copy (Mobiddiction writing rules).
- In the headset, keep every instruction to one short sentence the patient can act on without help: “Look at a scene to start it.”
Some current site lines use an em dash or lean towards a clinical outcome, for example the pain-management line on the home page, which joins two clauses with an em dash and speaks of “relief”, and “creating a healing environment”. Review these against Section 14 at the next copy pass.
Claims, privacy & safety
Healthcare buyers check everything. Say only what we can show, protect every patient’s privacy, and never let marketing outrun the evidence.
Clinical claims
PatientVR is a wellbeing and distraction experience. Its medical-device classification (TGA) is TBC, so write as if it is not a medical device and makes no therapeutic claim.
✓ Do
- Describe what it is and how it is used: relaxation, distraction, connection, engagement.
- Use “can help”, “may support”, “designed to”.
- Cite trials and services by name, with their permission, and link to the source.
- Quote testimonials exactly, attributed to the organisation that gave them.
× Don’t
- Say PatientVR treats, cures, heals, prevents or diagnoses anything.
- Quote a percentage, outcome or reduction you can’t source on request.
- Imply that VR replaces medication, clinical care or a clinician’s judgement.
- Use a hospital’s or health service’s logo, or NSW Health’s, without written approval.
Patient privacy
- Public promise
- “Works offline. No patient data recorded.” Use it exactly. Don’t extend it to claims about the portal, analytics or the platform as a whole.
- In material
- No patient names, initials, ages, conditions, room numbers or faces without written consent. Anonymise case stories.
- Screenshots
- Portal and headset screenshots use demo workspaces and demo headset names only.
- Website
- Analytics load only after cookie consent and carry no personal data. Forms are protected by Turnstile.
- Compliance
- Point security questions to the Mobiddiction Trust Center. Don’t restate certifications in marketing unless they cover PatientVR specifically.
Wherever a headset is offered to a patient, material should say that sessions are supervised by care staff and can be stopped at any time. Contraindication and suitability wording (for example epilepsy, nausea, recent eye or head injury) is TBC with the clinical lead. Don’t write your own.
Applying it
Designing in VR
In a headset the brand surrounds the patient. Legibility, comfort and calm matter more than anything on this page, because the person wearing it may be in pain, tired, lying down or unable to use their hands.
The headset app’s design specification is TBC. The facts below come from the live site, the app handbook and the platform contract. The numeric targets are working defaults based on common VR practice. Validate them on a Meta Quest 3 and 3S, with a patient lying down, before release.
What the product promises From source
- Controller-free: patients can use it with no controllers, with one hand, or with no hands at all.
- Programs can be tailored for use when lying down, and some features are built for patients with limited cognitive ability.
- Works offline. Content downloads to the headset and plays without a network.
Legibility at distance Working default
| Element | Working default |
|---|---|
| Panel distance | 1 to 2 m from the eyes, centred slightly below the eye line. Never closer than 0.5 m. |
| Body text | At least 1.5 cm cap height per metre of distance (about 0.9°). Poppins Regular or Medium. |
| Headings | About twice body size, Poppins SemiBold. One heading per panel. |
| Line length | 40 characters or fewer. Three lines at most per instruction. |
| Targets | At least 4° across (about 7 cm at 1 m) for anything selected by gaze or hand, with 1° gaps. |
| Selection | Gaze-and-dwell as the default, with a visible fill showing the dwell time. Hand pinch and controller as alternatives, never required. |
| Placement | Primary content within ±30° of straight ahead. Nothing essential beyond ±60° or behind the patient. |
| Lying down | Recentre panels to the patient’s head direction when a session starts, rather than to the room’s horizon. |
Safe colour and contrast in the headset Working default

Look at a scene to start it.
BeachesForests- Panels: Card dark
#1e1e1ewith text#f4f4f4(15.2:1). Secondary text#d0d0d0(10.8:1). - Primary action: Coral deep with white text (6.88:1). Coral is an accent, never a full field.
- No pure white fields. Large white areas glare in a dark room. Avoid pure black backgrounds behind 360 content too.
- Never rely on colour alone. Pair status with an icon and words.
Comfort and motion sensitivity
✓ Do
- Keep the patient still: the world never moves unless their head does.
- Fade between scenes (the app uses a fade and loading flow). About 0.3 to 0.5 s.
- Keep horizons level and the camera static in 360 video.
- Ramp audio in gently, and keep an always-available way to pause or stop.
- Design every Interact to work seated and lying down.
× Don’t
- Use artificial locomotion, camera moves, snap rotation or acceleration the patient didn’t cause.
- Flash anything more than three times a second, or use high-contrast stripes and flicker (seizure risk).
- Use sudden loud sounds, jump scares, heights, crowds or confined spaces.
- Attach UI to the head so it follows every movement. Let it settle in the world instead.
- Place the logo in the scene. Brand the menus, not the experience.
Content suitability (for example epilepsy, nausea, dementia, paediatrics, end-of-life care) and session-length guidance need clinical sign-off. TBC
360 content & thumbnails
The 360 library is what patients actually see, so it is the most important brand surface. These standards keep scenes comfortable, consistent and quick to find.
Format From source

Adaptive streaming is built on the platform but not yet live in the headset app. Rungs taller than the master are dropped, so a 4K master yields 1080p and 4k only.
Capture and selection
✓ Do
- Lock the camera off: tripod or monopod, horizon level, at seated eye height (about 1.2 m).
- Point the most calming view at the front (yaw 0). It is what the patient sees first and what the thumbnail shows.
- Choose gentle movement only: water, leaves, clouds, distant traffic.
- Keep people at a respectful distance and unidentifiable unless they have consented.
× Don’t
- Use moving-camera, drone-chase or time-warp footage for patients prone to motion sickness. Label it clearly if it is in the library.
- Include hospitals, injury, conflict, storms, fire or heights in the general library.
- Burn text, logos or watermarks into a scene.
- Upload a stereo file without recording its layout.
Thumbnails From source
The platform generates square thumbnails at 150, 300 and 600 px from the media. The portal library shows them as cards with a content-type badge top left and the title underneath.
- The thumbnail is the centre of the front view. Frame the subject there and it survives every crop.
- No text in thumbnails. The portal sets the title from the content record.
- Titles in Title Case, place first, then what it is: “Rice Paddy in Vietnam”, “Downtown Dubai”, “Sunflower Field at Sunset”.
- Aspect ratio for custom card art beyond the generated squares: TBC
Interacts
Interacts are short interactive experiences, loaded into the headset as downloadable content. They are playful, but they are still PatientVR: gentle, inclusive and clear.
Look and feel From source
The current Interacts share a style: bright, friendly, low-poly worlds with soft lighting, and a short benefit line in bold italic capitals over each screenshot (“A handsfree activity”, “Promotes hand-eye coordination”). Keep new Interacts in the same family.
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Naming | Short and literal, Title Case: Relax Forest, Solar System, Word Search. The Addressable key is internal and never shown. |
| Inputs | Offer a hands-free or head-tracking mode wherever the mechanic allows. Label the input on the card: hands-free, one hand, two hands. |
| Pace | No timers that punish, no fail states that end a session abruptly, no scores against other people. |
| Instruction | One sentence on entry, in a panel that follows Section 15. |
| Screenshots | Square captures from the headset, at least 1000 px. Benefit line optional, never a medical claim. |
✓ Do
- Describe benefits as activities: “uses head tracking without hands”.
- Build and publish for both headset builds together.
× Don’t
- Write “improves motor skills” or similar as an outcome. Say “practises” or “encourages” and only with clinical agreement.
- Use violent, competitive or frightening themes.
Meta Horizon Store art
Every store asset uses the same simple recipe: a solid brand field or a calm 360 landscape, the white mark, and nothing else. Coral for PatientVR, PRO blue for PRO.

PatientVR PRO
| Asset | Size | Composition From source |
|---|---|---|

| Logo (optional) | 4260 × 756, transparent | Colour inline mark on transparent, for the store’s logo slot. |
✓ Do
- Start from the PSD masters in
meta-assets. - Use real headset captures for screenshots and trailers, with clean UI and demo content.
- Keep the same order of features across both listings.
× Don’t
- Add taglines, badges, prices or “No.1” claims to the art.
- Use the coral set for PRO or the PRO set for the Horizon Store.
- Show patients in store art without consent (Section 12).
The live Meta Horizon Store listing URL, whether PRO has a public listing or ships only through Meta for Work, and whether HoVR is a separate store app are all TBC
Web, portal & email
The public site sells PatientVR, the portal runs it, and email connects the two. Each follows the same tokens, so moving between them feels like one product.
Public site and blog From source
| Element | Rule |
|---|---|
| Header | Mono inline mark at 32 px tall, Dark in light theme and Light in dark theme. Sign Up as a quiet button, Login in coral. |
| Themes | Light and dark. Dark: page #121212, cards #1e1e1e, border #3d3d3d, magenta lifts to #e85a9a. |
| Hero | Photograph with a dark scrim, white Poppins Bold headline with one or two gradient phrases (Section 11), two CTAs. |
| Footer | Always dark (#121212, bar #0a0a0a). Credits Mobiddiction. |
| Blog | Posts served from the M4 CMS. Feature image 16:9, title in sentence case, no gradient text in posts. |
| Tokens | Use semantic tokens (text-foreground, bg-card, var(--color-*)). Never raw hex outside globals.css. |
Interface colour
White text on Coral is 3.90:1 and on Teal is 2.49:1. Both fail for normal-size text. Small buttons such as “Login” and the “View Library” teal button should move to Coral deep (6.88:1) or set their label large and bold. Focus rings stay Coral, offset 3 px.
Portal
- Dark UI on Night and Card dark, mono white inline mark top left.
- Favicon from the PatientVR favicon set.
- Display name and theme colours: see the pending decisions in Sections 04 and 09.
- Pairing codes are six digits. Show them large, grouped 3 + 3, in tabular figures.
- Sender
- “PatientVR” <noreply@patientvr.com>
- Header
- Colour inline mark on white, exported at 2×, shown 160 to 200 px wide.
- Body
- System font stack, Ink on white, one action in a Coral deep button with white text.
- Footer
- Why they received it, what to do if it wasn’t expected, and “Powered by Mobiddiction”.
HoVR & partners
HoVR is a related trial brand with its own mark. Partners, hospitals and health services keep their own identities. Keep every brand whole.
HoVR · Powered by MobiddictionEmergency department procedural-pain trial brand. Orange field (about #d5552d, sampled; official value TBC).
HoVR store coverSame recipe as PatientVR store art, in HoVR orange.
✓ Do
- Use HoVR material only for HoVR and HoVR ED.
- Mention PatientVR in HoVR copy in words, if needed: “HoVR uses the PatientVR platform”.
- Keep partner logos the same visual size as PatientVR, separated by at least 2x clear space.
× Don’t
- Put the HoVR and PatientVR marks side by side as a lock-up.
- Recolour the PatientVR headset orange, or HoVR coral.
- Imply that a partner, hospital or health service endorses PatientVR without written approval.
Partners and customers
The site lists partners and pilot sites by name, and has a partners map. When showing customer or partner logos:
- Use only logos with written permission on file, in their own colours or a single neutral mono tone across the whole row.
- Government health logos (NSW Health, Queensland Health and others) follow their owner’s rules, which are stricter than ours.
- Co-branded material with a reseller or partner needs Mobiddiction approval before it is published.
Files & requests
Always start from a master. If the file you need isn’t listed, ask for it rather than making it.
| Folder | Contents | Use |
|---|---|---|
Logos/1x, 2x, 4x | WebP masters: Inline (transparent and background), Stacked, Powered and Pro families in every colourway | Screens. Use @2x and let the renderer downsample. |
