PatientVR Relaxation Interacts
A Little Magic in the Moments That Matter: Introducing PatientVR Relaxation Interacts
Creating moments of calm, wonder and gentle engagement for patients during long hours of care.
For patients spending hours in a chair during chemotherapy, regular dialysis or other ongoing care, time can feel slow. The surroundings may be familiar, the routine repetitive, and opportunities for a change of scenery limited.
What if those moments could become an opportunity to pause, explore and experience something a little more magical?
PatientVR Interacts brings together a collection of visually rich, immersive experiences designed to offer patients a gentle escape from the everyday. From glowing magical lanterns to breathing beneath a star-lit night sky and mesmerising jellyfish drifting through tranquil waters, each experience creates its own little world to explore.
A world of wonder, at your own pace
Every experience is designed to feel natural, unhurried and inviting. Patients can choose to interact with elements within the virtual environment or simply sit back and watch as the experience unfolds around them.
There are no challenges to complete, no scores to chase and no pressure to keep up. Just beautiful environments, gentle movement and the freedom to engage as much or as little as feels right.
A lantern might glow and respond to a gentle interaction. A star-lit sky might invite a patient to slow their breathing and follow a peaceful rhythm. Jellyfish might drift gracefully through the water, creating a mesmerising scene that can be enjoyed without doing anything at all.
Designed for the moments in between
PatientVR Interacts is being developed with the realities of patient care in mind, particularly for people who spend extended periods seated during treatment or routine procedures.
The experiences are self-paced, allowing patients to explore at their own comfort level. Those who enjoy interaction can engage with the environment, while those who prefer a quieter experience can simply observe and let the visuals flow naturally.
The aim is to make immersive experiences accessible without adding complexity or demanding attention when patients may prefer to rest.

More than a change of scenery
Sometimes, a small change in perspective can make a familiar moment feel different. A room becomes a place to discover a glowing night sky. A long wait offers a glimpse into an underwater world. A routine afternoon becomes an opportunity to experience something unexpected.
PatientVR Interacts explores how virtual reality can create these small moments of wonder within healthcare environments, offering patients an alternative way to spend time during care.
These experiences are not about replacing human connection or the care provided by healthcare teams. They are about creating another option for patients, giving them the freedom to choose a moment of quiet, curiosity or gentle engagement when they want it.

A new way to experience a moment of calm
At PatientVR, we believe immersive experiences can be designed around people, their surroundings and the moments that matter to them. Through PatientVR Interacts, we are exploring how magical visuals, gentle movement and simple interactions can come together to create experiences that feel inviting rather than demanding.
Because sometimes, a little wonder is all that is needed to make an ordinary moment feel a little different.
PatientVR Interacts. A little space to pause, explore and let the world unfold.
