Built in consultation with health care professionals

Supported by NSW Health for the first virtual reality trial at Nepean Hospital, PatientVR has been featured in media outlets like SBS — highlighting its impact on palliative care patients.

Clinical foundations

Clinically Developed, Patient Centred

PatientVR was developed through direct partnership with hospitals, palliative care teams, and addiction medicine specialists. Every experience in our library is reviewed by clinicians and refined with patient feedback — so what plays is always appropriate for the moment.

Our trials at Nepean Hospital, supported by NSW Health, demonstrated measurable improvements in patient comfort during procedures, long stays, and end-of-life care. Those findings have since been covered by NSW Health and SBS.

Real-world impact

Vital feedback from real world use

When presenting PatientVR to audiences of doctors, health professionals, and volunteers — including the NSW Palliative Care Volunteer Conference at RSL Anzac Village in Narrabeen and the Oceanic Palliative Care Conference (OPCC) — we received strong support from the clinical community.

We are currently in discussions with approximately 15 hospitals nationwide, with several already committed to participating in trials. Our Community Cares also graciously donated headsets to Nepean Hospital to support the program.
