These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PatientVR™ website, applications, software, services, subscriptions, and related products provided by:

By accessing PatientVR.com.au, downloading, purchasing, subscribing to, or using PatientVR™, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the PatientVR™ services.

1. About PatientVR™

PatientVR™ is an immersive virtual reality platform designed to support wellbeing, relaxation, engagement, connection, and therapeutic experiences through virtual reality technology.

PatientVR™ provides immersive digital experiences that may assist users in creating calming and engaging environments.

PatientVR™ is not intended to:

  • Diagnose medical conditions
  • Provide medical advice
  • Replace professional healthcare services
  • Replace clinical assessment or treatment

Healthcare professionals remain responsible for determining whether PatientVR™ is appropriate for individual users or patients.

3. PatientVR™ Services

PatientVR™ may be provided through:

  • Consumer subscriptions
  • Enterprise subscriptions
  • Healthcare deployments
  • Managed headset solutions
  • PatientVR PRO™ enterprise services
  • PatientVR PRO Events & Special Requests
  • Versions of our software and VR experience for different use cases

Different products may have different pricing, features, licence conditions, and support arrangements.

4. Software Licence

Subject to these Terms, Mobiddiction grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use PatientVR™ for your personal or authorised organisational purposes.

You must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute PatientVR™
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Modify or create derivative works
  • Remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices
  • Use PatientVR™ for unauthorised commercial purposes

All software, content, environments, designs, experiences, and technology remain the intellectual property of Mobiddiction.

5. PatientVR PRO™ Enterprise Services

PatientVR PRO™ is designed for organisations including hospitals, healthcare providers, aged care providers, and enterprise customers.

PatientVR PRO™ may include:

  • Managed Meta for Work Enterprise devices
  • Pre-configured headset deployment
  • Software licensing
  • Online management capability
  • Enterprise support services

Enterprise customers may receive separate commercial agreements, subscription terms, and deployment documentation.

Where a headset is supplied by Mobiddiction, the device is configured and tested prior to delivery.

6. Hardware Terms

Where hardware is purchased or supplied:

  • Devices are supplied subject to manufacturer warranty.
  • Mobiddiction is not the manufacturer of third-party hardware.
  • Hardware performance may depend on third-party providers including Meta.

Following delivery, customers are responsible for:

  • Safe storage
  • Charging
  • Cleaning
  • Physical handling
  • Security
  • Appropriate operation

Mobiddiction is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Accidents
  • Misuse
  • Improper handling
  • Loss or theft
  • Unauthorised modifications
  • Failure to follow manufacturer guidelines

7. Meta Platform Disclaimer

PatientVR™ may operate on Meta Quest and Meta for Work Enterprise devices.

Meta products and services are provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and are subject to their own terms, policies, updates, and availability.

Mobiddiction does not control:

  • Meta hardware availability
  • Meta operating system updates
  • Meta connectivity and hardware related issues
  • Meta platform changes
  • Third-party outages

8. Healthcare and Wellbeing Disclaimer

PatientVR™ is designed as a wellbeing and immersive experience platform.

Users acknowledge that:

  • PatientVR™ does not provide medical advice.
  • PatientVR™ is not a medical device unless separately classified and approved under applicable regulations.
  • Healthcare providers remain responsible for clinical decisions.
  • Users should stop using the service if they experience discomfort or adverse effects.

Healthcare organisations are responsible for appropriate supervision and patient suitability assessment.

9. Motion Sickness and User Safety

Some users may experience discomfort when using virtual reality products.

Users should:

  • Follow recommended usage durations
  • Take breaks when required
  • Stop use if discomfort occurs
  • Follow headset manufacturer safety instructions

10. Subscription Terms

Where PatientVR™ is provided as a subscription service:

  • Subscription fees apply for the selected subscription period.
  • Access continues while the subscription remains active.
  • Subscription pricing may change for future renewal periods.
  • Cancellation terms will be provided at the time of purchase.

Enterprise subscriptions may have separate commercial agreements.

11. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed through approved payment providers.

Refund rights are subject to:

  • Applicable consumer laws
  • Purchase type
  • Subscription status
  • Product delivery status

Nothing in these Terms limits rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

12. Privacy

Mobiddiction respects your privacy.

Our collection, use, and handling of information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

PatientVR™ is designed to minimise unnecessary collection of personal information.

Unless specifically agreed:

  • PatientVR™ does not collect patient-identifiable health information.
  • Organisations remain responsible for their own privacy obligations.

13. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep account credentials secure
  • Use PatientVR™ responsibly
  • Follow safety instructions

You must not:

  • Use PatientVR™ unlawfully
  • Attempt unauthorised access
  • Interfere with service operation
  • Allow unauthorised users access

14. Intellectual Property

All rights relating to PatientVR™ remain owned by Mobiddiction.

This includes:

  • Software
  • User interfaces
  • Virtual environments
  • Artwork
  • Audio experiences
  • Content
  • Documentation
  • Branding

No ownership rights are transferred through use of the service.

15. Availability of Services

Mobiddiction aims to provide reliable access to PatientVR™.

However, availability may be affected by:

  • Internet connectivity
  • Third-party platforms
  • Hardware providers
  • Maintenance activities
  • Events outside reasonable control

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mobiddiction is not responsible for:

  • Clinical outcomes
  • Decisions made by healthcare providers
  • Incorrect use of the platform
  • Third-party hardware failures
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

17. Suspension and Termination

Mobiddiction may suspend access where:

  • These Terms are breached
  • Services are misused
  • Payment obligations are not met

Upon termination, users must cease use of PatientVR™.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
